Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council are looking to gather information on the usage of Recycling Centres in our areas and better understand the travel patterns. They will be recording post codes and the type of waste being brought into the sites by Dorset Council residents.

Dorset residents living near to the border with Hampshire and who wish to continue to use the Somerley site free of charge must register their car with Hampshire County Council.
Please note that charges for certain waste types will still apply and that Dorset residents will only be permitted to access the site by car and are not eligible for a van permit at this site.
East Dorset residents can access the household recycling centre on Wilverley Road in Christchurch.
To access the site, please bring proof of address such as a recent Council Tax bill.

In order to visit the site, you will need to provide proof of address such as a recent Council Tax bill.
Residents living in a house of multiple occupancy or bed-sit type accommodation will need to obtain a copy of their Dorset Council tax bill from their landlord or the property owner to gain access to the Bournemouth Recycling Centre.
