We will make sure that we manage our SEN funding from the dedicated schools grant (DSG) effectively and efficiently so that we can have the best impact and outcomes for our children and young people with the resources available.

Outcomes of SEND strategy priority 6: our managing money and resources vision

Outcomes of this vision will be:

• reducing the costs to the DSG and associated council revenue budgets through the completion of our SEND Capital Strategy in partnership with all stakeholders
• creating a high needs block budget tracking system to support local teams to better understand spending and to identify new opportunities to refocus investment in early help or more local provision

Another outcome will be an increase in multi-agencies overseeing transition to adulthood, including:

• health
• housing
• education
• community safety
• children's and adults' social care
