New Waste Plan examination

The Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and Dorset Waste Plan was adopted on 31 December 2019. 

Waste Plan examination

Consultation on the Pre-Submission Draft, the final version of the Waste Plan, closed on 31 January 2018. The Plan, along with all the responses received and the supporting documents that have been prepared, was then submitted to the planning inspectorate on 29 March 2018. The Waste Plan was subject to a public examination with a planning inspector.

Examination and public hearings

Inspector Nicholas Palmer BA (Hons) BPI MRTPI was appointed as the independent Inspector to conduct the examination into the soundness of the Waste Plan. Public hearings were held from Tuesday 26 June to Thursday 28 June 2018. Full details can be viewed on the notice of independent examination. The Inspector issued matters and issues to form the basis for discussion during the hearing sessions. 

Examination library

The examination library, below, contains all documents prepared in support of the examination process.
