To get the most out of using Wider Wallet, identify an item or service that you are planning on buying, then search the Wider Wallet portal for a related discount voucher.

For instance you may be on the lookout for a new TV and have recently seen a  model which you are interested in for sale in a certain retailer for £400. Following this, search the portal for shopping, the results show a 6% discount card available for that national retailer. This would enable you to purchase a £400 voucher for £376, saving you £24!

Payroll giving

If you would like to donate to a chosen charity direct from your salary, you can Give As You Earn’ (GAYE). By doing this, you are entitled to tax relief, as donations are deducted from pay before tax is calculated. This means you can donate to good causes that matter the most to you, with reduced impact on your income.
