The planning office will be pleased to answer any general queries relating to the historic environment and provide more specific advice regarding issues of maintenance, repair, alteration and new development affecting listed buildings, conservation areas or other heritage assets.
The Dorchester Article 4 Direction came into force on 10 June 2020 to prevent loss of further features which contribute to the character of the Dorchester Conservation Area.
